Mystery Project Update

Here is my latest update. I have added a bit more to the puzzle.
I'm getting close to finishing all that white. Just a few more small clumps! It is looking like I might finish it by the end of February....will have to see if I get anymore bad headaches. I'm not enjoying this winter at all...I haven't had a break all winter.

January-IHSW and a Death Note Sprite Finish

Well here is my first IHSW. I'm getting behind on my Mystery WIP. I had a migraine that lasted a few days then my stomach was not well for days after because all the pills trying to get rid of it.

Mystery WIP -- Update

Not much to show except lots of white!! I'm so sick of white!!! You can see the part with a shape of the image. I promise you I will have something added for the next time.

Here is my first finish of the year. They are Death Note sprites from Dork Stitch. I did make a few colour changes - I changed Near a bit. This will be made into a pouch for my sons laptop mouse when I want to drag out my sewing machine again.

Well....Here is the update.

Not much of the image was added. Just lots of white!! I have completed 7/25 pages now. I'm slightly behind on my stitching because of video games. Oh well!! I should have another update for you soon and maybe more of the image too!

Mystery Cross Stitch Update

Here is my last 2011 update of my mystery BIG cross stitch. I'm really enjoying parking the threads. I don't have to count constantly or tuck my stitchings in all the time. I think it has cut time by a small amount!!

Well I hope to post my 2012 things I want to stitch tomorrow sometime. Since it is quiet here tonite I plan to stitch this evening. My son has gone to a coed movie nite tonite. It is my first new years without him.....so I'm a bit sad. (just a bit--giggles)

NEW BIG PROJECT

Well I have started my new project this past week. I decided NOT to tell people what it is. You will have to try and figure it out. I finished the first page. There is going to be lots and lots of white. I have also decided that I'm going to use the parking method. It really works well for the background. I haven't decided if I will do the parking for centre image yet. It makes me extremely nervous to try it. Lots of same shade colours. This will be the last photo taken until after Christmas since I will be busy all week--still hope to get some stitching in during the evenings!!

Dragon is home!

I finally picked him up this morning! It was done on Saturday but I had to wait until I could get down and the framer to be open! I think I picked the perfect coloured frame!! I'm still deciding where I should hang it. I have 8 plus ceilings and the dragon piece looks really small. I know it will look different once I get more framed and hung on the wall.

I have started another big piece. I won't tell people what it is.....Just have to wait and see it appear!!

Cross stitch finishes

Here are my recent finishes.

Shino from the .hack series.

Here are 2 Nyan cats stitched. I made one into an ornament for my son. I buy or make an ornament for him each year. Instead of a poptart looking body-- made it into a christmas pudding. Pattern is here.

Here is my stitched and unfinished Domo. I won't be able to finish him just yet. I hurt my wrist moving snow yesterday. It might be my carpal tunnel-- 3 of my fingers are still numb/and hurt when I woke up early this morning. I will put the pattern up here soon as I can.

I don't think I will have anymore finishes until the new year now.

Baby Dragon is done!

Well I finished my baby dragon last week.

It measures 12w x 14h inches. I'm very happy how it came out. I won't be starting a new BIG until next year. I really need a break!!

I have some more finishes that I will share with you either tomorrow or later this week.

Well some excellent news!! I didn't manage to miss any rows!
Now I must figure out what I did wrong on the page. (The part where it is unfinished)
I might stitch the page beside it next and stitch some markers in. I might of forgotten to mark off a completed row!!

August TUSAL, Dragon Update and Emma

Here is my August TUSAL-'m getting lots of gold,oranges and browns in my jar now!

Here is the latest on the baby dragon. Mommy's claw is finally done. Also we have decided here the dragon is a girl. Might have to give her a name once I'm done. Just click photo to see a larger photo.

Some sad news for me-- My beagle Emma(11 years) is now in doggy heaven. She was having lots of problems walking and it was time for her to go. It is so quiet here--and that is the hardest part now. We think we are done with dogs now and decided not to get anymore. I also think Colbalt is having some problems too with Emma gone. Keeps on waiting at the door for Emma to walk in.

Another Baby Dragon Update

Another update on the baby dragon. It is coming along slowly. You can see the baby dragons chest and tiny foot. I just wish I could stitch more each day. I'm still limiting how much I stitch each day since my neck is still very sore.

Baby Dragon Update

Here is my recent update of the baby dragon sampler. It is very hard to be patient with this pattern. It has lots of colour changes and takes forever to complete a small area. It doesn't help when you hurt the nerves in your neck. I managed to do a bit of damage to my nerves/joints in my neck stitching way too much a couple week ends ago. My doctor is now trying to fix what I damaged.
Anyways in slowly getting back into stitching this past week end. I take lots of breaks now -- this really almost sounds like my wrist problems.

I also have some other news. I have finally purchased a Wii. It was a good deal! I only have a couple games right now( I love the racing game) so it doesn't get in the way of my stitching time yet. That is pretty much it for now. I hope to have another update for you soon!!

TUSAL and Baby Dragon Update

Here is my August TUSAL. I finally have more floss in my jar. Just alot more boring browns and some golden yellows.

Well I'm finally working on this again. I almost have one of Mom's toes done. I was really worried it was going to look really dark. I guess I was lucky!! Just click the photo to see a larger version. I hope to finish the bottom two pages and start another page next week. I don't have all colours I need for this sampler and I will pick them up later next week when I get some more money.

July TUSAL

I know its really late..... but here it is. There is no new floss in the jar--photo was from last month!!
I haven't felt like stitching since I had been sick. This past week I had a slight set back. I'm thinking of getting tested for celiac disease now. I'm hoping the blood test shows positive because I really don't want to be knocked out and get a tube down my throat. (doctor might do both anyways) I just hope I get this sorted out soon and start feeling better.

I have lots of new digimon patterns made up. I just need to turn them into PDF's and get them on the web page. I just haven't had the energy(brain power) to do it. Soon.... I promise!!!

New Anime Dolls

Here is Michiru (AKA- Gopher) from Zombie Loan. I really do feel sorry for her!! I hope to do more dolls from this series soon!

Storms and June Tusal

We had the one of the coolest storms last nite!! I love thunderstorms!! (except we had a couple tornadoes in my area last week from a different storm--not good) Last nite I decided to try making a video of it with my camera-- but blogger is giving me problems right now and won't upload it. It could be the internet also because it did go offline last nite and it is acting very slow!!

Today is..........

Today is my Blogs birthday. I did a few more posts then last year!!

I will be doing a giveaway soon.... I just haven't set anything up yet since I have been sick on and off. Stomach problems! I'm having problems with different foods. It could be dairy/flour or even tomato related stuff again. It has been hard to pinpoint which one thing is giving me problems. I think its dairy(cheese) but I can't be sure. I have stopped eating anything dairy.....except yogurt(since it can help with stomach problems). I hope I can figure this out soon.

I haven't been stitching too much except today (it is hard to sit up for a long time). I'm trying to stitch up a doll and hope to have it completed very soon.

I'm off for walk around the yard to see the long grass / flooding issues. REALLY tired of rain!!

Dragon News--updated!!

This totally sucks!! I miscounted-- I rarely do this!!
So now..... it is pretty much garbage. There is really no point it pulling it out since it usually takes more time then stitching it.
I just don't have the heart to start it again right now.
It is totally my fault for not stitching page by page. I just had to go ahead with a black section. Stupid me!

Calmed down now!!
Things might not be totally lost! I have been thinking how I can fix things. I will stitch the rest of the sampler normally and go back to the area I made a mistake on.... lots of darker colours in that area and not symmetrical. It might be an easy fix-- won't know for awhile if it works!

Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann Logo Added

Here is the Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann Logo added. It will be a pretty easy pattern to stitch up. I watched the first episode yesterday and it was rather amusing in a way. Not sure I will watch more tho.

I have also added meh.... My son says this this a lot when I talk to him and it totally drives me nuts!!! The only way I can usually get him to stop saying these words is the threat of loosing his computer time. I limit his daily time use-- I know MEAN MOMMY!!

TUSAL and Baby Dragon

Well here is my Tusal jar for this month. There is lots of black and dark browns added to it recently. (left side)

Well I have completed almost 2 pages of the dragon now. I haven't gone to the shop yet to get the rest of the 12 floss colours yet. I figured it will take a bit to get all the black and browns completed. I'm not sure if you can notice the dark brown in the sampler yet. I can see it but unsure the camera picked it up. I might have to do some special lighting to it when I get it framed.

Baby Dragon WIP

It is just a terrible day here......the snow won't go away!! Only cool thing after I took this photo--it did thunder!!!! Rather amusing to hear that!!

Here are some Dragon Ball characters stitched by grumble-king2. I'm rather impressed with Vegeta!! She managed to stitched it backwards from the pattern so they would be facing each other! I wouldn't have the patience to do that!! Great job!!

Mario Death Mushroom and Cobalt Update

Here is the finished Mario Death Mushroom I stitched for my son. The purple floss I used was difficult to use because it was slippery. I'm not sure the brand since I got it many many years ago. Some of my stitches were not tight as I wanted them to be. I'm sure my son will like it!! I would post a link to the pattern but I don't have it since I just saved it to my computer over a year ago.

Now POOR POOR Cobalt!! He hasn't had a good week since his surgery. One of his toes (or a few) got infected. He cried a lot when the doctor was checking them and it is now drained. He is on antibiotics and more pain killers for a week now. There is a huge change even this morning-- He is causing a bit more trouble for me. He must put the cone on if he is too active or licking at his foot. He could be extremely happy before you put the cone on then his personality totally turns to sadness!! He just lays down and looks soooooo sad!! He now finds hiding places.....where I can't get to him easily!!
Ohhhhhh---so sad!!!!

April Tusal and Death Mushroom WIP

Here is my April TUSAL. I'm finally getting an assortment of colours now. The Mario Kart Sampler helped with that!!

Here is the start of my new project. It is one of the stitchings my son wanted me to stitch up for him. The purple floss is very slippery and hard to work with it. It is has a shine to it and will look cool once its done. I might add glow in the dark filament to the white areas-- It is an after thought and not sure it will work now. :(

Mario Kart WIPS and Cobalt

Here is my Mario WIP. I haven't managed to finish a sprite yet. Poor priness doesn't even have any colour yet.

Here is Cobolt--He is almost a year old now. He loves to watch me stitch--he is very attached to me. He will either sit in my lap with his front legs over my left arm--lay down on my left shoulder. It does make stitching very difficult. He thought it was time to stop MOM from stitching. Yesterday he went to the vets to get his baby making parts taken away--and declawed. I haven't had to do the declawing with any of my cats until this one. He loves to climb--- He will run up my back to my shoulder and he uses his claws!! I guess I'm tired of being injured!! He is pretty much the coolest cat ever!!

Now I'm taking a small break from stitching Anime stuff. I am doing a couple Mario Kart samplers from Gatchastitch's site. I wanted to work on my bigger sampler but I must wait for my order from the US-- the fabric colour I wanted to use was too small.
I started this yesterday afternoon. I have managed to complete all the black now.

Well I had a pretty busy day!! I managed to stitch Manatsu in about 24 hours-- even with lots of sleep in between. She has a very pretty dress. I'm happy how it turned out!

I see the chiropactor two times next week to see if he can place everything right. It will take time to heal-- but I'm never patient--I hate to keep still for long!!

Well I haven't been stitching too much in the last week. I still managed to finish a few small pieces.

Well now to tell you about my injury! It was my Birthday just over a week ago and it was really warm outside-- a rare occurrence on my birthday. I was standing on small snowbank next to the house. I decided to just jump down. HUGE MISTAKE!! When I jumped I sank into the soft snow but I kept on moving forward. The split second thought was to protect my stitching hand... I did just that----which I though was really cool. I landed on my right side in the soft melting snow and I felt fine until a couple days later...... It hurt from my neck to my hip. For the most part I have healed except my neck and I have been getting mild headaches to migraines for a week now. Yesterday I was explaining to my chiropractor what happened and he thinks I'm experiencing a mild case of whiplash from my fall. I'm not sure when I will heal from this. I am hoping soon!! At least I'm still stitching a bit at a time but it is better then no stitching at all!!

Kerochan Stitched

Well I finally finished him! He was alot more work then I thought it was going to be.
I decided to outline him because it wasn't looking crisp...it was just blah.... It looks better outlined too!! He is stitched on hand dyed Blue Stellar 14 count Aida. It was fun to stitch on but the fabric is softer after the dying process. I had a slight learning curve to stitch with it. The downside I couldn't stitch with it on my stand because it didn't hold the fabric flat. You can order this and many colours from 123 cross stitch.

February TUSAL and New Project

Everyone --This is what came down yesterday!! I totally love my new lawn tractor attachment--the snow blower!! Driveway was clear in about 10 minutes!!

Here is my TUSAL Jar-- Will be better once more colours are in it!! Pretty much only has Elf Girl in it.

This is my new project-- It came from a cross stitch magazine-- Will call it my Blob WIP!!
I really needed to stitch something that was really colourful!!

I got it finished this morning.....not much sleep!!
I'm starting to drag a bit now. I plan to take a long break for the rest of the week end! I'm not sure what I'm going to stitch next. I do have a wolf to finish -- but I really really don't want to do it!! I'm sure I will figure out something!!

Here is a recent photo of the elf girl. She is closer to being completed everyday now.
You can now see a bit of her ear. The next part will take a bit of time to complete. It seems every floss colour in the pattern is in this small area.

Well..... I have been busy working on my Elf Girl again. I had to really force myself to get this page done. I also had a good Christmas too. I have a new camera that takes non fuzzy photos now!! I also have lots of different coloured Aida and cloth. I can`t wait until I get to use the new stuff. First I need to finish my Elf Girl.

Well that is it for today. Having lots of problems working with the laptop. I swear it hates me!!!

Snow Day For Everyone here and New anime finishes --

Well..Lots of highways are closed today!! We got lots of drifting snow!!
My hubby is unable to commute to work and I think the buses will be canceled too!! Sooooo-- its a SNOW DAY!!! I will get a photo of all the snow later this morning when the sun finally gets up. You might just see a cloud of white!! I HATE snow!!

Here is my Black Star from Soul Eater finished. I did make a few changes from the pattern. I have been working on a new doll-- I wanted to get it finished over the week end but the weather ruined those plans!! I will post very soon!!

Well another busy week for stitching!!
I have completed a couple new Anime Dolls.
Here are Haruka and Maka.

Here is the first page of my Elf Girl. It has slowed down a bit again because I'm trying to get a big white area stitched. It's so boring!!

Cathy over at Stitchin Chicken has completed some more Digimon characters.
She almost has them all completed now!! :) Thanks!!

Missy tannenbaum has kindly stitched another one of Vocaloids. She turned out rather cute too!!

I must thank Lee Wan Juen for stitching one of my favorite couples!! You have to love Mushroom Head!! :P

It is a totally yucky day here---it is snowing!! Wet snow so it isn't staying!!

Mojo patterns update

I have decided to reopen the mojo files again until Nov 15th then they will be gone.
I'm not sure about the file site and how much usage is available (if there is a limit) .

Now what had upset me was someone was selling a finished design from mojo's collection. When mojo had her site she didn't want anyone to profit from them. I think that is one of the reasons she had closed her site in the first place. She had to constantly fight will people that did this. It started not to be fun anymore!!

When I started my site I wanted it too be free for anyone!! I don't want people to profit from this!! I do this because I enjoy doing it. If people decide to use my patterns to profit then I will remove the site. I don't want to so please use the patterns for your own use. I don't mind people using the designs for quilt-- charity organizations.

I really don't know where to start!! Lots of people have been really busy!! I am slowly getting into stitching again-- I'm stitching one of the champion Digimon's. I did only one needle today -- I don't plan to rush into stitching many hours yet!! One needle per day for a bit -- then I will see how it goes -- maybe I will add another later this week.

No Stitching

Well I won't be stitching for awhile now! I managed tear my tendon in my thumb! It will be a micro--small tears. It happened a few week end ago when I was cutting material into squares to sew up. I hurt it in a span on 1/2 hour. I'm going to seriously rest my thumb for a few weeks so I can get back into stitching!!

Here is my ELF girl WIP-- what I was able to complete!!
It will be putting it away tonight so I don't see it and get depressed!!!

I will also be seeing a plastic surgeon too!! I thought I would never see one!! Very cool!!
Nahhhhhh.... off to see him about removing a new mole on my face that didn't look right!! I have lots of those beauty marks-- moles on my face!! :P I'm pretty careful and get things checked if something doesn't look right!!!

One good thing is it doesn't hurt to make patterns!! I will be putting lots more up soon!! :)

I have started another large project. It is not as big as previous ones. It hasn't given me too many problems yet. I'm hoping to get this done in a couple months but it never turns out that way.

New Fresh Digimon

Well I didn't get too much done the past week.
The heat stroke has taken a lot out of me. My sinuses and a tooth has been giving lots of problems now. I'm now on antibiotics and a strong pain killer. It has been keeping me pretty drowsy!! I go to get a root canal at the end of the month long as my sinus infection is gone.

I managed to get one...... only one digimon pattern made up this week.
