Mystery Project Completed

IT'S DONE!!!

It is stitched on white 14 count Aida using DMC floss.

Size wise -- unknown because I cant find my tape measure.
It measures in stitches-- 150 W x 187 H. It took just over 3 months to complete.

The dragon is based on this dragon sketch. [link]
She gave me permission to use it!! Thanks!!





I don't think I will start another huge project just yet. It will be busy around here next month and at the end of June when my son offically graduates-- but he is going back next year for one more year to fix a mark he was totally disappointed in.

    very nice, I thought it might be a dragon of some sort I just wasnt sure if it was one I had seen before or not

    Wow, that looks really beautiful, and the details came out remarkably, too! It's so cool to see a stitched piece where the original art's medium is so evident! Congratulations on your finish! ^^

      Thanks!! It does look like a sketch-- I had a few comments on DA saying it was cool seeing the cross stitch kept the detail of cracks on his nose and scale things.

    Oh my god, it's gorgeous!!! I'm going to repeat the previous comments. but it really is amazing how much it looks like a drawing. I love it, and it was lots of fun revealing the mystery page by page :)

    Yay, congrats on the finish! I have to admit, I wasn't expecting a dragon when you posted up that curious page (10, I think it was). Totally convinced you were doing a nakey lady with some evil horns, LOL.
