August IHSW--its late

Well I didn't do very well this week end. I only managed to stitch a small dragon.
Over the weekend was my wedding anniversary-- Friday, went visiting an old friend (was in town) a bit longer then I should of on Saturday, had a migraine on Sunday and my hubby's Birthday yesterday. Things just got really busy!!

Well here is what I got completed anyways!! It is part of another series I'm stitching. I hope to show you the completed project soon!!

Domo Pattern and web page news

I wasn't sure if I had posted the Domo pattern yet. Here is Domo for you to stitch. It is a pretty simple design to stitch up and won't take you long! :)

Now my web page news. There won't be anymore updates since I'm really busy now. I just don't have the time to constantly maintain it. I will keep it up for you to enjoy tho. I will be posting some patterns here instead when I can.

Sherlock/Watson Bookmark

I have stitched another bookmark for my son since he is a total fan of the new Sherlock Series. It didn't take long to stitch up. You can find the pattern here on dork stitch. I decided not to do the IHSW because I knew I wouldn't have time during the long week end. I had to do some yard work outside until it was way too hot. My son had about 6 friends over for a sleepover (Happy Kat made it too--she totally wants me to adopt her!!)  They spent hours and hours just playing smash brothers. It was actually funny!! It is cool to have extra remotes so everyone can play~

New Friends! BBBBzzzzz..........

 Here are our new Friends!

 Sorry I couldn't get a clear shot of the queen. She was constantly moving around. I wasn't wearing gloves so I couldn't get close enough for a photo! I haven't been stung ever by any of the honey bees. I wasn't as brave as the hubby-- wearing shorts!! LOL!! The bees were very happy today. It is kinda cool being surrounded by hundreds of flying bees!

Well it was an adventure yesterday. I recieved a call from my sons school yesterday morning. He hurt his ankle jumping down from a 5 foot boulder on the school property and should take him up to the hospital. Friday is not the greatest day to goto a hospital because it is always busy for some reason. It took awhile to get in--hours! Just for a xray!! Well he didn't break it at least. He did manage to give himself a huge sprain. He was suppose to go on a hike next week end and wanted to start running. He wont be able to do much for at least 2 weeks or more.  He can still work on his karate- upper part. No kicking or moving around much.

The funny part part of it all-- I had stitched a bookmark from Dork Stitch- Thor and Loki sprites. My son bugged me to finish the edges yesterday morning so he could use it in a book he was reading. I think LOKI wanted to cause grief to me yesterday!! Giggles!

Stitched Stuff

Here is what I just finished stitching up. It is Witch Hunter Robin. I was amazed how long it took me to stitch this--Way too long!! I totally liked that I stitched it on the dark Hunter Green Aida--Camera flash made the material look lighter. Pattern can be found here- Robin Pattern

I must thank Gatchastitches Mum for stitching Perry!! I love his eyes!

I must also thank Cross stitch Ninja for stitching these game related patterns! I think your boyfriend should of picked black for the Lollipop Pattern!! :P

Another week end finish!
